The Abbotsford News is looking for a reliable carpenter/handy man. You would be an independent contractor making newspaper carrier boxes. The job entails constructing/building carrier newspaper boxes, repairs to boxes, painting boxes and delivery of the boxes to specific locations. You must have your own carpentry equipment and able to build the boxes at your own site.

This would be a great job for someone who is retired looking to keep busy and earn some money.

The applicant should own their own truck for transporting the boxes - this is not a deal breaker, just preferred.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $17.96-$29.65 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Abbotsford, BC V2T 6E5
