**Location**: Laval (4204, boul. Industriel, Laval)

**Hybrid mode**: 3 days at the Laval office and 2 days remotely

**Type of employment**: Permanent, Full Time

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Information and Corporate Accounting, within the Corporate Finance team, the Corporate Accounting Analyst will provide various period-end and quarter-end analyses.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Contribute to the periodic and quarterly closing process
- Account for currency swaps
- Perform balance sheet and income statement analyses
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare periodic entries
- Reassess financing costs
- Prepare statutory financial statements
- Analyze derivative financial instruments
- Prepare periodic currency summaries
- Participate in process improvement
- All other related tasks

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting OR equivalent experience;

**Experiences**:

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;

**Knowledge and skills**:

- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of the complete accounting cycle
- Quality work ethic, autonomy and initiative;
- Ability to manage priorities while respecting deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team and to communicate effectively

**Language skills**:

- Bilingualism is mandatory (French and English) in both writing and speaking
