There's a new restaurant coming to Truro We are currently under renovations and look to be up and running the beginning of September.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide them with menus in absence of hostess.

2. Present menus to guests, explain specials, and answer any questions regarding food, beverage selections with knowledge of proper food and drink pairings.

3. Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system promptly.

4. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.

5. Monitor guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or requests to ensure a positive dining experience.

6. Check on guests regularly to inquire about their needs, refill drinks, and offer additional food or beverages.

7. Prepare and deliver accurate bills and process payments, including handling cash and using electronic payment systems.

8. Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination of orders.

9. Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas, including cleaning and arranging tables, chairs, and tableware.

10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including workstations, dining areas, and service stations.

**Requirements**:
1. Previous experience as a Server or in a similar customer service role is preferred.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

3. Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail offerings.

4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

5. Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order taking and delivery.

6. Ability to work well within a team, collaborating with colleagues to provide exceptional service.

7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the food service industry.

8. Knowledge of POS systems and handling cash transactions.

9. A positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing outstanding hospitality.

10. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
