Craft Beer Representative

Can you name 10 different kinds of hops? What does IPA stand for? What is the difference between an ale and a lager? Do you have an opinion on the use of exogenous β-glucosidase enzymes in brewing? If you can answer these questions and love talking about craft beer, this is the job for you

We import craft beers from all over the world and sell them to retailers and licensees. We are looking for a passionate, energetic and personable Sales Representative to join our team - much of the job can be done remotely.

This is a full time position - salary + commission.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all existing accounts (on/off premise) within territory and growth within them.
- Proactively conduct outbound sales calls to grow territory.
- Main point of contact for several corporate accounts.
- Respond to inbound client calls with a high level of customer service and attention to their wants and needs.
- Resolve any order-related problems.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings to update the team on weekly progress and strategize for the coming week.
- Be an active member of the sales team, supporting sales in provinces other than Northern Alberta as the need warrants.
- Assist purchasing department in gauging interest for new products.
- Use social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) to market beer products and associated events.
- Preparing reports on sales activities and updating client relationship management databases.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum two years sales experience
- Knowledge and passion for craft beer and the desire to educate yourself further
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including SharePoint
- Previous experience with CRM software
- Must be able to work in a small business culture
- Social Media aptitude - Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
- Tenacity
- Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
- Pro-serve
