Choosing Wisely Canada (CWC) is a national campaign to reduce unnecessary tests and treatments in health care. CWC inspires and engages health care professionals to take leadership in reducing unnecessary tests, treatments, and procedures, and enables them with simple tools and resources that make it easier to choose wisely.

Choosing Wisely Canada is currently looking for a **Research Coordinator I - **Communications Coordinator**. This position will provide communications and administrative support to various campaign activities. Reporting to the Senior Communications Specialist, tasks will focus on content development, managing social media channels, and coordination with campaign stakeholders and professional associations.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Develop, write, and copy-edit compelling content for website, newsletter, and social media channels-
- Manage social media channels,- using analytics and reporting to inform content strategy-
- Maintain and update CWC website-
- Develop communication plans and strategies to effectively communicate campaign materials-
- Produce professional, accurate, and complete documents generated or required by the team in a timely manner-
- Support education tool and resource development for CWC campaign materials-
- Support logistics of webinars, conferences, and ongoing educational offerings**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor¿s degree (preferably in communications, journalism, or related field) or demonstrable equivalent combination of specialized education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience, preferably working within a healthcare or non-profit environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail when composing, typing, and proofing materials
- Ability to independently solve problems and manage tasks
- Superior organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a timely manner and flexibility to adapt to changing workload
- Professionalism and self-motivation
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database, and online webinar platforms
- Experience in the use of Adobe Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, InDesign) is an asset
- Experience in Wordpress and content management systems is an asset
- Fluency in French (reading and writing) is an asset
