**Job Purpose**:
The Service Supervisor through observation and technical assistance will direct the team of service technicians and provide expertise to ensure tasks are completed to company standards of quality, safety and efficiency while achieving operational goals. Dedication to safety is paramount and strong technical knowledge with overhead crane operations, hydraulics, and heavy-duty equipment is essential. Possess confidence to guide and mentor the service team through planning, managing and creating efficiencies to support and address maintenance, repairs and warranty concerns.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Be self-motivated with a positive drive and commitment to maintain service process control, disciplines while demonstrating and advocating safety culture and safe work practices
- Be proactive, able to improvise, have exceptional problem solving skill, troubleshooting and performing diagnostics while working under pressure
- Guide and direct service department toward achieving operational goals is the highest priority and paramount to the success of this branch for both on and off site repairs
- Ensure and review service tech team have daily work logs for repair orders and preventative maintenance programs
- Review submitted notes, reports, remarks, documentation, etc. are posted, reported, documented and detailed accurately by service technicians
- Adhere to, promote and manage all established contractual customer safety initiatives
- Supervise and ensure all maintenance and repair orders for customer’s equipment, fleet, etc. are matched correctly and to ensure timely completion
- Continually monitor, delegate and oversee to determine priority, length of repair and time commitment
- Work closely with the service coordinator and tech teams to ensure timely repairs and customer delivery assurance
- Ensure upkeep and consideration is given to all tooling assets, property and shop equipment
- Functional engagement, facilitating interaction, and offering creative, practical, and viable problem solving
- Responsible for addressing and managing customers’ expectations during service repair and maintenance process, informing them of company processes, policies, timelines and communicating as necessary
- Monitor, track, and follow up with related shop personnel on delays, repair and warranty issues, etc.
- Assuring consistent availability and communication, and addressing any issues that may impact customers and their business operations
- Creating, preserving, and managing customer relationships ensuring effective communication with excellent customer service skills in both strong written and verbal communication
- Documentation, review, analysis, and revision control related to work order invoicing and accounting of labour, parts, service completion, etc. for accuracy and completeness
- Ability to work and communicate well with all departments
- Implement and execute service development and repair timelines for improvement and growth
- Assist when needed in the preparation of service quotes, estimates, repair recommendations
- Conduct repairs as necessary to increase and promote customer service and efficiency
- Ability to effectively identify, recognize and respond to any variances, inconsistencies, and discrepancies with any all service and customer related issues
- Establish, maintain and systemize accurate documentation processes and protocols
- Initiate, build, and maintain ongoing positive relationships with staff, suppliers, vendors, and customers
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and initiate actions within the scope of authority
- Maintain standards of confidentiality
- Ensure a positive and professional attitude while working with peers
- Ability to identify opportunities, multi-task, and manage time effectively
- Strong leadership skills to successfully mentor and guide your team in a healthy, positive and safe working environment

**Salary**: $38.00-$50.00 per hour
