Part Time Office Manager

Edmonton Meat Packing (EMP) is currently looking for a Part-time Office Manager based out of our North Edmonton operations. The Office Manager will report to the Controller and will be responsible for maintaining accounts payable/receivable records along with invoicing for EMP. This position is currently a temporary position with the potential to move to permanent, hours will be three days per week (24 hours per week) with the possibility to move full-time.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Entering/recording inventory receiving; raw material & packaging
- Entering and recording accounts receivable/payables
- Processing payments (cash, EFTs)
- Analyzing AR reports to ensure payment compliance
- Adjusting AR balances if short paid
- Enter customer orders & invoicing
- Maintain office supply inventory
- Receiving product orders
- Bill entry
- Couriers
- Support to the Plant manager
- Answering phones
- Misc. Admin tasks
- Perform other related duties as required
**This position requires**:
- Using Food Management System (FMS) software to enter and receive product orders & invoicing
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Dedication to accuracy
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in an efficient, flexible and effective manner
**Education Requirement**:
Post secondary education in Business Administration, minimum 2 years working experience. Working knowledge, technical abilities in the accounting field with a proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel). Experience in an office/production environment is helpful, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
