Host/hostess

PUR & SIMPLE in Ancaster, ON - A breakfast restaurant is looking for dynamic people to host and serve their valued customers. What we need is SIMPLE actually... we want PUR'ly passionate people who love people and the hospitality business. Serving people in a warm, friendly atmosphere is what we do The hours are awesome, no late nights and plenty of free time once your work day is over Our clients are hungry when they visit and we need to get them fed, so we are looking for team members that have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Hours of Operation:
Monday to Sunday
- 7 am until 3 pm

**Duties**:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist in managing reservations and waiting lists
- Answer phone calls and take reservations over the phone
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Handle guest payments using POS system

**Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Phone etiquette for taking reservations and addressing guest inquiries
- Familiarity with food service or restaurant operations is a plus

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
