**Veterinary Technician**

**Qualifications**
- At least **1-2 years of hands-on experience** as a Vet Tech _**required**_
- Registered Veterinary Technician License is _**required**_
- An open mind-set with the passion to professionally develop
- Must be tech savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly. Experience with **Avimark** is an asset, but not required.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- A super friendly and fun demeanor - this team works hard but has fun doing it
- Dependability - as part of a small team, you are counted on to help things run smoothly
- Superior communication skills and strong attention to detail with clients and colleagues
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Passion for dogs and cats (and the ability to handle them) is a MUST
**Core Responsibilities**
The skills you worked hard to gain will be appreciated and utilized fully We will count on you to:
- Expertly draw blood
- Place IV catheters
- Administer IV and subcutaneous injections
- Administrative duties as assigned
- Deliver excellent patient nursing care
- Manage Surgical prep, surgical, and post-surgical monitoring
- Provide superior client service, educating pet parents with a tailored approach
- Assist with medical supply ordering
- Complete special projects assigned by our Doc
- Keep a clean and organized workspace
- Take notes and keep accurate client records
- Other duties as needed
**Hours & Availability**
- Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
- Sundays: Closed
- **Some rotating Saturday availability is required**
**Compensation & Benefits**
