Aluma Systems, BC is currently recruiting **Scaffolders **for Various Locations, in Lower Mainland**, British Columbia.**

**Commercial & Industrial work**

Scaffolders erect and dismantle temporary work platforms or structures that safely hold workers, tools, equipment, and construction components.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Scaffolders provide other trades with safe, secure access to areas both indoors and outdoors.
- May be required to plan and order on-site scaffolding materials.
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed, and on-site client relations are positive.
- Scaffolders work mostly outdoors at a variety of locations, extreme heights, and all-weather conditions.
- Must be able to work in Confined Space areas as needed.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Apprentices and Journeyman Scaffolders
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow instructions
- The ability to work at heights
- Must have physical strength and endurance, lifting up to 50lbs
- Be able to wear a safety harness once trained
- Forklift Certification an Asset, but not necessary

**SAFETY COURSES REQUIRED**:

- Confined Space
- Fall Protection
- WHIMIS 2015
- forklift certification an asset, but not necessary
- **PPE AND TOOLS**:

- Provide your own scaffolder tools and belt
- CSA approved work boots

**This is a unionized position.**

**This is not a Fly in and Fly out position.**

**Salary**: $21.00-$43.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Scaffolding: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
