Contribute to the continued development and implementation of AGLC’s strategic planning framework_**

AGLC is looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Strategy and Performance Advisor. As a key member of the Strategic Planning branch, you will contribute to the advancement of AGLC’s future direction by delivering and aligning the corporate strategy, business planning, performance, and reporting work across the organization.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Planning and Performance, this role is responsible for working collaboratively with business areas to translate strategies into business priorities, help measure organizational progress, develop planning and reporting documents, and provide strategic research and analysis. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and align organizational and divisional business strategies and plans.
- Support the implementation of a corporate performance measurement system, including measure and dashboard development, analysis and reporting of results, trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Proactively monitor best practices in other jurisdictions, industry, and academia to identify corporate planning and performance best practices and improvements applicable to AGLC.
- Curate compelling content using audience-friendly language and engaging visuals to showcase progress towards strategic goals and business plan objectives.
- Develop and support the implementation of communication and change management strategies that inform and support staff and stakeholders along the transformation journey.

The key to your success is strong communication and interpersonal skills to forge strong relationships, facilitate productive discussions, negotiate solutions, deliver presentations, and create audience-centric materials. Approaching all work with a continuous improvement mindset, you contribute as a collaborative member of the team, while demonstrating your personal initiative and self-drive. You will be responsible for taking on multiple engaging projects, assignments and tasks, and completing work in a timely fashion at the highest quality.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- A University Degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or related degree
- Two (2) years progressively responsible experience in strategic and operational business planning, enterprise performance measurement and management and writing for business/executive-level audiences.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in facilitation, project management and process development/coordination within a public sector environment.
- Experience developing, managing, and working with performance measures including making linkages to service objectives, business plans, and general budget.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships throughout multiple levels of an organization.
- Knowledge and applied skills in systems thinking, human-centered design, logic modelling and/or theory of change and analysis of complex issues.
- Skills and experience in analytics and data intelligence to support decision-making.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects including creating and managing work plans.
- Experience in research, evaluation, survey design and jurisdictional scanning.

The following will be considered assets:

- Experience working with PowerBI, Tableau or other business intelligence and reporting tools.
