Dessert Holdings is looking for a Warehouse Team Lead to join our team based in London, ON. This individual will work in the warehouse, performing shipping, receiving and inventory related team lead duties and job specific training.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:_(this is meant to be an outline, not an exhaustive list of responsibilities)_
- The direction of department staff and assignment of duties, training of procedures, processes, and policy
- Planning and organization of daily operating functions and responsibilities
- Coordination of tasks, priorities, and responsibilities
- Effectively communicating with other departments in order to ensure we achieve organizational results.
- Various team lead and operating functions as they relate to the effective operation of the department.
- Adherence to procedures, safety practices, policy and holding others accountable for the same.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have a valid and up-to-date forklift certification.
- MUST be able to drive a Standup Crown Counterbalance and Reach Truck.
- Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Focused on detail, accuracy, and a good understanding of inventory control.
- Scheduling flexibility, comfortable working in a cool working environment
- Ability to work independently, well organized, effective judgment, strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Leads the workforce by setting high standards for safety, punctuality, attendance, enthusiasm, work ethic and personal effort.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution skills, demonstrated leadership.
- Ability to make change quickly and respond to unplanned situations.

**Schedule**:

- Tuesday to Saturday, from 11:00 PM -7:30 AM

**What We Offer**:
**Pay Rate**:While performing Warehouse role, probationary rate per hour is $22.25 and full rate is $24.72.

***While performing** **Team Lead role, probationary rate per hour is $24.46 and full rate is $27.18.

- We provide uniforms, safety shoes and sick pay.
- Shift premium for all hours worked between 7:00 pm - 5:00 am
- Weekend premium for all hours worked between 5:00 am - 7:00 pm.
- Eligible for quarterly bonuses upon completion of probation.
- This position also provides comprehensive benefits & RRSP contribution after probation is complete.
