**Job description**:
**Duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Responsible for ensuring cost effective and timely delivery of materials required for efficient operations
- Plan and purchase the raw materials using ERP and shortage reports
- Prepare, issue and monitor purchase orders and requisitions
- Assist other departments in the creation and completion of purchase orders as required
- Work closely with accounting to match purchase orders to invoices
- Point of contract with vendors to retrieve quotes for supplies, follow up and track back orders with suppliers
- Review planning spreadsheets to manage scheduled receipts
- Works with Inventory Control to control inventory accuracy
- Maintain accurate data of raw material parts
- Expedite raw material delivery to meet changing production schedules
- Assist the VP of Operations with supplier negotiations and development cost savings programs
- Coordinate daily traffic requests and update the master file
- Collaborate with other departments to maximize efficient use of raw material
- Need to work a Flexible work schedule if and when required
- Other duties as assigned

**General Skills**:
**Skills and Technical Knowledge**
- Diploma or certification in Business, Supply Chain and Operations field
- 1-3 years of experience in material buying and planning in a manufacturing setting
- Previous experience with demand and supply modules
- Previous experience with ERP systems
- Supply Chain and Material management skills
- Experience in Inventory Control
- Working knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing and Assembly is an asset
- Computer skills with advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Proven problem analysis and resolution skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure for expediting items
- Proven to be flexible and adaptable to change and when necessary modification of tasks
- Proven ability to build internal and external working relationships
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated individual who can work well individually and as a part of team
- Organizational skills

**Salary** : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
