Choice Homecare is looking for compassionate caregivers to join our team.

We are currently seeking DSW's to provide exceptional in home client care using their acquired skills. Become an active member in planning for your client's care with the assistance of the nurse manager. **Duties and Responsibilities**: Include, but are not limited to, assisting with daily activities, personal care, outings, assisting with mobility, light housekeeping, effective reporting and creating activity plans.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Certificate from an accredited program
- Experience with Dementia and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
- Valid police vulnerable sectors check
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Must have high energy and excellent communication skills
- Personal Transportation
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate is an asset

**Other Skills and Abilities**:
Experience working with clients who have cognitive impairments (short term memory, acquired brain injuries). Able to understand the clients' needs and respond appropriately. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to stand, bend, squat, kneel, reach freely; and freely lift 23 kilograms; able to assist clients with pivot transfers, able to assist the client with dressing.
