**Financial Analyst I**:
The Financial Analyst I is primarily supports day-to-day treasury and financial planning tasks and responsibilities. This includes month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, preparation of accruals, banking, online tax remittances, payment processing and other duties. Additionally, this role supports the Corporate Accounting team.

**Duties and Accountabilities**
- Processes Canadian EFT and U.S. ACH payment for Payroll and AP.
- Creates wire transfer and intercompany bank transfers.
- Files online tax and payment for payroll taxes, corporate tax, withholding taxes, GST, and PST.
- Processes cheque including fraud review, stop payments, voiding, uploading of manual cheques, etc.
- Liaises with TD and HSBC banks for enquiry on bank statement payment/deposit details.
- Submits daily transaction details and incoming wire transfer notifications to Accounts Receivable.
- Assists with Daily and Weekly cashflow forecasting and quarterly forecasts.
- Assists with annual budgeting process.
- Supporting the TAC/TAP administration function
- Reconciles account for Trade AP/AR and Unapplied cash.
- Provides backup invoices for self-assessments for PST.
- Prepares Reg 105 remittance file.
- Provides GST backup for monthly GST returns for high value invoices.
- Enters data into TaxPrep program.
- Files tax documentation in the network files.
- Downloads and saves invoices for PST refunds and PST rebate.
- Reconciles GST and PST accounts and Reg 105 accounts each month.
- Inputs Reg 105 information for T4A-NR monthly in preparation for end of year.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

**Qualification Requirements**
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Commerce.
- Working towards CPA designation.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting and financial analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Skills, Knowledge and Required Competencies**
- Knowledge and experience in Canadian ASPE GAAP and related financial reporting requirements.
- Detail-oriented with analytical skills.
- Knowledge of month-end close processes.
- Knowledge in ERP systems (JDE or equivalent) and BI tools (SAP BI, Power BI or equivalent)
- Proficient in MS-Office (Excel /Word/Outlook/PowerPoint).
- Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and multi-task.
- Customer service orientation, self-starter and initiative driven.
- Listening, verbal and written communication skills.
