**THE POSITION**

If you love creating a great first impression, working with others and being the best part of someone’s day, then we have the job for you. Reporting to our **Café Manager**, the **Barista **will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of food and beverages, as well as connecting with and creating a lasting impression on every customer who walks through the door.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for all customers
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of our food and beverage menu
- Efficiently operate POS system while taking customer orders
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items (espresso drinks, tea, pastries, sandwiches, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and professional environment by cleaning and sanitizing throughout your shift
- Take inventory and replenish items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter as needed
- Complete daily and/or weekly tasks assigned to you by your manager

**WHO YOU ARE**
- You are an outgoing, engaging, and motivated individual with a passion for customer service
- You have previously worked in a barista, customer service or hospitality position for at least 6 months (preferred)
- You are FoodSafe Level 1 certified (preferred)
- You have the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Your schedule is flexible to work peak hours including early mornings (beginning at 6am), weekends, and holidays
