**LEAD WEDDING PLANNER**

JOB DESCRITPION

Lovely Weddings & Events are looking to hire an energetic and detail-oriented wedding planner who can work as a freelancer to help our clients achieve their ultimate wedding experiences. This position is perfect for a wedding planner who wants to grow with an already established wedding brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Required to manage and convert all incoming wedding planning inquiries.
- Conducting initial consultations with clients to understand their needs and vision for their wedding.
- Finding and recommending vendors that fit each couple’s budget and style as well as scheduling meetings with clients to meet suitable vendors and venues.
- Checking in and working alongside couples on a regular basis to guide them through their planning process, lending experience and knowledge to devise the event day schedule and ensure their requirements and expectations are understood, agreed and met.
- Working directly with wedding vendors to acquire proposals, contracts, and information for clients such as payment schedules and other needs.
- Creating wedding day timelines and diagrams for each wedding.
- Running and supporting wedding rehearsals
- Managing wedding days from beginning to end.
- Running any last-minute errands for couple on the wedding weekend including the day of the wedding.
- Networking with industry professionals and assisting in building/maintain vendor relationships.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proven lead wedding planner experience - 3 years +
- WPIC Certification
- Must have vehicle and willing to travel.
- Working cellphone and laptop.
- Available on weekends and weekdays depending on event timeline.
- Professional demeanor
- Physical stamina and high energy levels. Must be able to be on your feet for 12+ hours at a time and be able to assist with moving furniture or large objects.
- Sound knowledge of different religions and religious practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, organization and time management skills.
- Strong networking and negotiating skills.
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and creative.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, written and verbal.
- Proven wedding or event planning experience - 3 years +
- Ability to work on & lead on own without direct supervision.
- Ability to manage and provide clear direction to vendors and scheduled wedding team (coordinators)

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
