We have a co-op placement opportunity available for a R&D Verification Intern position working with the Ansys Discovery product range. The purpose of this position is to improve the software quality through model verification, validation, acceptance testing, and other research-oriented projects. You will work with the development and testing teams, who are highly skilled and motivated.

**This position is an 8-Month role starting January 8 through August 16.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Testing and validating new features of the software as they are being developed
- Assisting in the production of test specifications
- Creating automated tools and tests

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Pursuing a BS in Mechanical engineering or related technical degree.
- Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the internship.
- Knowledge/experience using CAD software.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Exposure to FEA and CFD.
- Exposure to programming using Python.
- Experience with Ansys products.
- Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
