We are seeking a Project Coordinator for low-mid rise construction. You will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple construction sites, from planning to completion.

The duties of a Project Coordinator will vary; however, you can expect to be responsible for updating the construction schedule, creating budgets, inspections with the city/township, coordinating between project manager and site superintendent. You must also be able to understand and read architectural/structural/civil plans, understand building processes, fire rating, familiar with part 3 and part 9 of the OBC, problem solving skills, communication skills and organization.

**Responsibilities**

Project Coordinator duties shall include, without limitation, the following:
1. Perform detailed estimation/takeoffs for construction projects

2. Report deficiencies during each project phase via documentation & photos

3. Liaise between consultants/engineers/trades/suppliers regarding design revisions, RFI’s, etc.

4. Maintain and update project schedule in accordance with site superintendent

5. Assist project manager in developing budgets for projects

6. Conduct site visits as required

7. Review bids with Project manager

8. Create and maintain delivery schedule for projects with site superintendent

9. Assist project manager with creating contracts

10. Organize & maintain project site files and documents

11. Participate in meetings and prepare detailed meeting minutes

12. Provide support as needed to either Project Manager or Site Superintendent

**Requirements & Skill**:
1. Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or other similar role

2. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment

3. Ability to read and understand architectural/structural drawings

4. Excellent organizational & communication skills

5. Experience in developing schedules and budgets

6. Aptitude in math

7. Ability to work in a team environment

8. Good problem solving abilities

9. Good physical condition & stamina

10. Attention to detail

11. Ability to maintain a professional attitude under pressure

12. Ability to work unsupervised

13. High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter, etc)

15. Steel toe boots & hard hat

**Education**:

- Secondary school (required)
- Relevant Diploma (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
- French (preferred)

**License**:

- Full Drivers License (required)

**Certifications**:

- WHMIS
- Fall Arrest
- Working At Heights
- First Aid (preferred)

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
