Comfort Keepers is an in-home care company that provides companionship and care to seniors in Victoria.
We are currently looking for health care aides or BC Registered HCA for Victoria.
We do personal care: bathing, grooming & hygiene, mobility assistance (transferring and positioning), companionship, light housekeeping including laundry, medication reminders, meal preparations, incidental transportations - medical appointments, social engagements and shopping.

- A passion for helping others
- Hold a Personal Support Worker Certificate from an accredited college
- Being registered in the BC Registry
- Ability to work in Vancouver.
- Current certification in CPR/First Aid will be required
- Experience as a caregiver is a plus but not a deal breaker
- Knowledge of other languages is an asset
- Access to reliable transportation/transit
- Ability to pass a background check
- References from past employers, colleagues, & acquaintances
- A hunger to learn
STARTING WAGES:
Health Care Aides
- 21 $ / hr
BC Registered HCA- 22 $/ hr
All the above get 4% holiday pay per hour plus health benefits after 90 days probation. After 90 days we also do a review on pay rates depending on their performance. To qualify you have to be working over 20 hours a week and if they are over 30hours a week, we pay half the premium. You will have annual performance reviews.
