About the Role
Global BC is looking for one Full-Time Feed Coordinator/MMC Server Operator to join Global BC's news production department. This position will report to the Operations Manager and is a Group 4 position under the current collective agreement.

**You will be working on things like**:

- Coordinate Live Hits for all News Programs
- Check MMC Items before air, this includes font spelling and graphic information that must conform to the Global News Style Guide standards
- Audio and video quality must be checked on items in the playout server
- Switch out sources to master control, perform F.A.C.S check with the playout servers
- Edit and sub clip the Global National show for MMC Playout
- Route live sources onto Tel lines in various control rooms
- Shifts will involve working, early mornings or regular weekends, as well as other shifts as required.
- NOTE: Some shifts (including overnights) start or end when there is no public transportation.

If you have the following We want to hear from you
- Post-secondary education in Broadcast Technology or related field
- Good sense of picture composition, this will help when preparing live shots from the field
- Comprehensive computer knowledge, including knowledge of leading edge Newsroom management systems (i.e. ENPS,
- Must have good technical knowledge, spelling and writing skills are a major asset, non-linear editing abilities are needed, time management skills are a must
- Self-starter and a team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude;
- Working knowledge of how major news organizations are employing a wide range of digital platforms and formats;
- Willingness to adapt rapidly
