The Manager performs and directs overall restaurant management. It is the role of the manager to direct staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation and cleanliness standards are being maintained as per the Operations Manual. The Manager oversees the restaurant as though it were their own business, ensuring that the restaurant operates under the profitability parameters outlined by the Operations Manager. The overall role of the Manager is to maintain the image of the brand to the customer, thus leading by example is key to the success of this role.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinates monthly team meetings, incentive programs, events, and maintains staff morale.
- Performs all responsibilities of a Sandwich Artist and Shift Leader as per their job descriptions.
- Completes and posts staff work schedules every Monday using LiveIQ Labor Scheduler.
- Recruits, rewards, and terminates staff as needed.
- Maintains complete and accurate employee files on Dropbox, including new hire documents, disciplinary action documents and termination documents.
- Identifies Shift Leaders and provides mentorship for succession planning.
- Communicates changes in company policies/Subway standards to staff.
- Provides hands-on training and coaching on new initiatives to staff and uses all resources and materials provided by the Operations Manager or VP Operations.
- Utilizes all technology systems as required.
- Reviews, adjusts, and conducts weekly inventory and paperwork transmissions.
- Handles the weekly Sysco ordering and coordinates delivery.
- Ensures that health and food safety codes are maintained.
- Ensures that company safety, security and harassment policies are followed.
- Maintains business records as outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Completes weekly reporting to the Operations Manager and VP Operations.
- Adjusts time punch sheets and submits payrolls every Friday by 12:00pm.
- Responds back to customer complaints within 24hrs through the call center and Subway Listens.
- Identifies/contacts prospective customers and plans/executes special events/promotions.
- Attends conferences, training sessions and meetings put on by the SMO Office as requested.
- Completes any additional duties as outlined by the Operations Manager/VP Operations.

**PREREQUISITES**
- **Education**:_ High school diploma or equivalent. Must speak English fluently.
- **Experience and Skills**:_ 1-2 years of experience. Must be able to understand and implement written and verbal direction.
