JBS Equipment is a rapidly growing manufacturing company located in beautiful **Mission, BC**. We are looking for a **Paint Prepper** to help us prepare world-class manure spreaders, forage trailers, bedding flingers, and other related agriculture and custom products to go through our **brand-new** paint line. **This will be a evening shift Monday through Thursday 2:30pm to 1:00am**

**PRIMARY DUTIES**:

- **Surface prep**: Masking, Caulking, Sanding, etc.
- Repairing general damage, including cracks and dents on cabs and heavy equipment.
- Paint small parts to automotive **OEM quality**.
- Assist painter in day-to-day tasks.
- Approaches paint prep planning with a sense of urgency and detail to avoid any rework.
- Ability to understand and read and interpret material safety and datasheet. An understanding of drawings, sketches, and/or blueprints is a benefit.

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Must have 1 years of previous industrial equipment painting/prepping experience.
- Must have knowledge of safety equipment and the chemicals used in the department.
- Must have base/clear experience.
- Must have body filling experience.
- Must have wet sand/polishing experience.
- Must have a valid BC Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb ladders;
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 to 50 lbs
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs with assistance
- Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below waist

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
