**Job Opportunity: Facility Manager at Kings Courts in Etobicoke**

As a Facility Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art indoor sports facilities. If you're passionate about sports, customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service Excellence**: Greet and assist customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience from their arrival to departure.
- **Facility Maintenance**: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of courts, equipment, and common areas to uphold our high standards of presentation and safety.
- **Equipment Setup**: Set up and prepare courts, equipment, and playing areas as per scheduled activities, ensuring a seamless transition for players and guests.
- **Safety Compliance**: Monitor activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, responding promptly to any potential hazards or incidents.
- **Customer Support**: Answer inquiries, provide information on facility services, and assist with bookings, ensuring that all customers have a clear understanding of the offerings.
- **Assist in Events**: Collaborate with event coordinators to help with setup, teardown, and overall coordination during tournaments, leagues, and special events.
- **Cash Handling**: Process payments, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- **Staff Supervision**:Supervise and guide a team of facility attendants, provide oversight to ensure roles and responsibilities are met. Foster a positive and motivated work environment that encourages employee growth. Collaborate with the team to recruit, train, and onboard new employees.
- **Scheduling and Timekeeping**: Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage while considering business needs and employee availability.
- **Equipment and Inventory**: Maintain accurate records of gym equipment, supplies and inventory levels. Oversee the procurement of new equipment and supplies as needed.
- **Community Engagement**: Establish partnerships with local businesses and organizations to enhance the gym’s presence.
- **Knowledge of Business Operations**:Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business’s operations and services. Collaborate with senior management to implement strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong passion for sports and a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle minor maintenance tasks.
- Prior customer service experience is an asset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Other**:

- Access to vehicle to drive into work is recommended
- Potential to increase hourly rate after 3 months (pending performance)

**Application Instructions**:
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
