CP Distributors has a current opening for an ambitious **Human Resources Generalist** in Saskatoon for Corporate Branch Support, that will work closely with all our branches across Canada. This full-time position offers tremendous growth opportunities, including diverse projects, supported career development, and potential for advancement.
As a **Human Resources Generalist**, you will be responsible to:
- Provide guidance of employment standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance and supporting all aspects of the HR lifecycle to enhance overall organizational effectiveness;
- Remain current with legislation and best practices across the organizational regions;
- Remain apprised of current trends in human resources and employee engagement;
- Execute talent acquisition process including Applicant Tracking System (ATS) management and reporting of people analytics;
- Establish and maintain solid relationships with hiring managers, providing strategic guidance and advice as a trusted partner;
- Conducting exit interviews, ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees;
- Providing support in payroll, as required;
- HR administrative assistance ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations;
- Work in a variety of HR functional areas and participate in special projects;
- Flexible support role, undertake additional tasks as needed.
**Your Experience**:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field;
- Minimum 3 years of generalist experience in human resources and full cycle recruitment;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a private enterprise;
- Prior experience and knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems;
- Experience with foreign worker recruitment, is considered an asset.
**Your Skills**:
- General knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, employee engagement, and employee development;
- Great communication skills with an aptitude for excellence in providing proactive service across the business;
- Strong written and spoken communication skills;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office Suite;
- General knowledge and skills in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and online networking tools;
- Dedicated to continuous personal and professional development.
