Our client is looking for **SAP Data Conversion/Migration Consultant** for a long-term project in Toronto, Canada (100% remote)

**Role: SAP Data Conversion/Migration Consultant**

**Location**:Toronto, Canada (100% remote).

**Duration: Long term**
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education with 10+ Years of Data Migration/Conversion work experience.
- Strong SAP HANA Experience is required.
- Ability to plan, track and facilitate completion of data conversion tasks for data extraction, transformation and loading
- Functional expertise in S4 HANA Customer, Vendor and Material Master data structures. Familiarity with other S4 hana master data structures
- Track and manage open issues, defects and defect resolution for any issues encountered for data conversions
- Experience using SAP BODS and Migration cockpit for data conversion
- Extensive Knowledge of SAP MTD Functional specific to the Data migration
- Extensive knowledge of SAP S4 data migration architecture and solution delivery.
- In-Depth Business & Technical Interaction with customers and SMEs.
- Experience in translating Legacy requirements into S/4 in terms of writing Design documents.
- Knowledge of SAFe agile project delivery methodology.
- Extensive knowledge in SAP BODS ETL and Data Quality Design, development, and delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of ETL performance optimization.
- Lead and deliver data conversion solutions for the respective SAP Modules according to the design delivered by function module leads.
- Build and document technical solutions and acquire signoff from customer SMEs.
- Liaise with multivendor teams for E2E, ETL, and Mock load activities.
- SAP SDI/SDQ technical solution build and delivery experience.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation using BODS and SDA/SDI/SDQ methodologies.
- Proficient in native HANA SQL and views.
- Work with business resources and value streams to determine the required S/4 fields and the associated mapping to legacy fields necessary to support business functions.
- Conduct functional mapping sessions with value streams and legacy teams based on the proposed data design for the respective value streams.
- Complete the associated design documents along with the field mapping documents.
- Support the ETL development teams with a resolution of queries during the build phase.
- Support functional unit testing (FUT) as per the defined PGT process.
- Support end-to-end execution of conversions for the Mock cutovers resolving defects and design updates through each Mock.
- Support the end-to-end success of production data load for assigned conversions from legacy extract to SAP load and sign-off.
- Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and a high level of focus and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic with good time management with the ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
