**MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN/LEAD CUSTODIAN**
**BEAUMONT, ALBERTA**

St. Thomas Aquinas RCSRD is seeking applicants for A (7.25 hours per day) Maintenance
Technician/Lead Custodian based at Académie Saint-André Academy in Beaumont, Alberta. The position will commence February 26, 2024 or a mutually agreed upon date.

This unique position is split between the responsibilities of a Lead Custodian as well as a Mechanical
Maintenance Worker, in Beaumont, Alberta. The following is a list of responsibilities (but not exhaustive) that this highly organized and multi-talented individual will be responsible for:

- Maintains and orders supplies inventory.
- Supervision and management of custodial staff.
- Performs preventative maintenance checks and repairs on equipment and building mechanical systems.
- Performs the following, when a certificated tradesperson is not required: o Minor carpentry work and installations, o Minor electrical work, and o Minor plumbing work.

The combined hours for this unique position is 36.25 hours per week: half hours for the Lead Custodian; half hours for the Mechanical Maintenance Worker.

Engineer ticket or other trade certification is considered an asset.

The position start date is February 26, 2024, or a mutually agreed upon date.

Alberta Children’s Intervention Record Check, and a driver's abstract.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $21.62-$28.69 per hour

Expected hours: 36.25 per week
