**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to, and under the direction of the Program Lead and Health Services Manager of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Health in Motion and Hearts in Motion Programs, the Secretary is responsible for providing administrative support for the programs, the program lead and the team. The secretary is also responsible for patient reception and front desk operations, database monitoring and operations, working with forms and documents, and organization related to patient bookings and registrations for all program sites.

**Qualifications**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12 plus graduate of a recognized office administration / business / secretarial program and/or a combination of education, training and progressively responsible experience required
- Minimum of one year of related secretarial experience required
- Experience in a health care setting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, computer software and data entry
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be self-directed and adept at problem-solving, while working with mínimal supervision
- Must have strong organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to prioritize upon short notice while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Demands associated with working with an off site team and high program participant volume
- Ability to respond and cope with stressful or emergency situations
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Successful external applicants are required to provide a criminal record check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) to People Services before starting employment and assume any associated costs as a condition of employment.

**Hours of Work**:
Permanent Part-time (50%) position; 35 hours biweekly

**Salary Information**:
$20.25 - $22.50 hourly
