**Program Manager**

The Ladysmith Resources Centre Association (LRCA) is a charitable not-for-profit society in Ladysmith, B.C. We run a wide variety of programs for the Ladysmith community. In partnership with BC Housing, we also operate a 36-unit apartment building.

The LRCA is seeking a Program Manager who will report to the Executive Director and will be the first line contact for
LRCA Staff program coordinators working at the Primary Office at 630 2nd Ave, Ladysmith, and the Victim Services
Manager whose office resides in the Ladysmith RCMP building. Program oversight of: Born Healthy, Early Literacy, Victim
Services, Counselling Services, Family & Youth Services, Dad’s Group, Seniors, Mother Goose, Restorative Justice,
Vulnerable Families and Youth and work with the ED on communication and events.

**ROLE**:
The Program Manager is to ensure the Programs they oversee are successful in meeting their mandates and the funding is maintained, with an eye to opportunities that would expand and enhance programs according to the needs of the Community of Ladysmith.

**WAGE**:$30 per hour 28 hours week

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure quality of service is provided to the Ladysmith community, its clients and contracting agencies.
- Ensure all program reports are complete as required by funding agencies.
- Ensure quality of service is provided to all Clients of the various programs.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the LCRA programming.
- Review annual program budgets quarterly.
- Supervise all program staff and complete annual performance evaluations.
- Comply with all legislation that affects the Ladysmith Resources Centre Association
- Ensure directives from the Executive Director are followed to achieve the goals set out for the Ladysmith
- Resources Centre Association
- Develop and write grant requests as needed or as directed.
- Keep the Executive Director informed on all program matters relevant to the governance and overall well-being of the Association.
- Work with the Leadership Team to ensure the overall smooth working of the LRCA.
- Present and promote programs and services, emphasizing the impact, to the community of Ladysmith.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to promote a positive and safe workplace for all.
- Take on other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Able to work independently as well as experience working as an integral part of a team.
- Strong organizational and people skills.
- A creative thinker, self-motivated and self-directed.
- Practice effective leadership skills, be highly organized and have strong communication skills.
- Skilled and experienced in directing and/or establishing community-based programs through seeking and acquiring grants.
- Amenable to learning and taking training to ensure successful outcomes.
- Experienced in public presentations and speaking to groups.
- Experienced in administrative activities - completing paperwork, filing, record keeping and finances.
