Kennel Maintenance

**Job Summary**

The Kennel Maintenance person is responsible for helping us clean and maintain the kennels in the morning. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, pressure washing, cleaning up animal waste, changing water, laundry, cleaning dishes, dusting, and other tasks necessary to maintain the facility.

Work with dogs and cats daily

**Responsibilities**:
Assist with cleaning the kennels in the morning, from 8:00AM to 4:00PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Vacuum, mop, clean up animal waste, change water, do laundry, clean dishes, and assist with other tasks necessary to help keep the facility clean.

Shovelling snow.

Dust merchandise in the retail store and ensure shelves are clean

Pressure washing the kennel.

Providing pets with fresh water

General facility cleaning

Cleaning pet indoor kennels and outdoor runs

Other duties as assigned

**Job Qualifications**

Desire to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to multi-task

Able to clean pet accommodations / facility to maintain our high standards

Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds

Ability to stand up to 8 hours

Wages starting at $15.00 (hourly)

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sturgeon County, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
