As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR team and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assisting with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Assisting with payroll processing, T4's and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Supporting employee relations by addressing employee questions and concerns, and escalating issues as needed.
- Assisting with training and development initiatives, including coordinating training sessions and maintaining training records.
- Assisting with HRIS data entry and maintenance.
- Assisting with data collection and analysis for HR metrics reporting.
- Supporting change management initiatives by assisting with communication efforts and providing administrative support.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- 1-3 years of previous experience in an HR role
- Familiarity with HRIS systems
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience conducting interviews or assisting with the interview process is a plus.
- Knowledge of employee relations best practices.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
