Concord, Canada STC Warehousing and Distribution Inc. Full time

STC Warehousing is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual who has a minimum of 1 years experience within the transportation environment.
- Compensation will be determined based on skills and experience_.

We have a DAY and AFTERNOON shift available. Afternoon shift to start between 2-4 pm.

**Critical Skills**:

- Support an environment of customer service excellence.
- Autonomous mind set that drives execution of multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to effectively navigate a variety of personalities and needs within the driver talent pool
- Ability to work under pressure

**Responsibilities**:

- Drives reduction in or elimination of non revenue hours /miles by successfully planning drivers
- Manage communication with drivers regarding scheduling and work availability
- Collaboratively working with other departments in the allocation of resources including human capital and equipment
- Monitor schedules to ensure on time delivery
- Ensure adherence to any special driver requirements for each site
- Report driver attendance rates
- Assist in the dispatching of drivers as required

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- 1+ years prior progressive logistics experience is required.
- LTL background an asset
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and possess excellent problem solving skills
- Proficient in Windows Outlook, Microsoft excel, and a transportation management system
- Proven experience handling multiple priorities
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and overtime if the demand arises
- Familiarity with LoadLink, PC Miler an asset.
