- **Salary**:Starting at **$18.00** per hour with **annual raises** or increases based on performance or promotion

**The Opportunity**
Breathing Green Solutions is looking for dependable team members to join our packaging team as a **Packaging Specialist.** In this role you’ll be hands-on in preparing and packaging our premium cannabis products for the market. From weighing and labeling to making pre-rolls and boxing up shipments, you’ll ensure every product meets our high standards of quality and that our equipment and production areas are kept clean.

**Your New Role**
As the **Packaging Specialist** you will work alongside the friendly packaging team where you will complete a variety of tasks such as:
- Weighing and recording amounts
- Packaging flower and producing pre-roll products
- Labelling and preparing containers
- Sealing and prepping boxes for shipment
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, pots, trays, etc.
- Following all sanitation and quality processes
- Required to wear standard PPE (scrubs, lab coat, and masks) while working
In this role, you’ll perform consistent tasks while working in a clean and comfortable indoor environment. Most days follow a structured routine although during busy periods, you may have the opportunity to assist with tasks like harvesting or cleaning, but your primary focus will be packaging. This variety helps keep the work engaging while maintaining a predictable schedule.
**What You Need to Succeed - Qualifications**
- Good attention to detail
- Proven commitment to be a dependable employee with ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to follow instructions and quality procedures
- Physical ability to stand for periods of time and lift packages (typically 20-30 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs)
- Reliable transportation to our facility in Wentworth
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Experience in packaging, production, or food handling is an asset as well as a strong understanding of sanitation and food safety standards
No specialized education or previous cannabis experience is required; we’ll train you on everything you need to know.
