**Job Description for CMHA CEH Club Support Worker**

CMHA CEH is looking for a energetic, professional individual who demonstrates initiative and compassion. Must be friendly and approachable, demonstrating positive body language and healthy boundaries. Individuals must have a solid understanding of the impacts of mental health and possess a willingness to accept direction and accountability to the persons we serve as well as to the organization. The successful applicant will keep those we support in the center of their work, and have a history of strong emotional management.

**Position Scope**
- Under the general direction of the Club Supervisor/Executive Director
- Major focus of this position is providing relevant **programming directly with Club members** in the CMHA CEH Club.
- Support a safe, supportive environment for the membership.

**Responsibilities**
- Spend time with Club members to establish and maintain a professional working relationship.
- Work side by side with Club members in Club program support and development.
- Promote awareness of Club programs and services among members, health professionals and community organizations.
- Promote a healthy lifestyle for Club members.
- Promote awareness of Clubhouse programs and support member participation and leadership in those programs.
- Develop, implement and assess programs.
- Recruit, orient and coordinate Club and community volunteers.
- Responsible for the daily operation of the Club in the absence of the Club Manager and/or Executive Director.
- Support Clubhouse members in fund raising as required.
- Document incidents, statistics and record of Clubhouse activities as required.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with established policies and guidelines.
- Communication with team members on a regular basis.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Terms of Employment**
- To adhere to all Policies and Procedures of CMHA - CEH.
- Hours of work will be determined by needs of the program.
- Paid for hours worked according to scale.
- May have pre-scheduled hours. On occasion may be called in when required.
- To read and have a complete understanding of the MOA with the Health Authority in order to strive to adherence.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
