**The Opportunity**:The Youth Services Worker is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Youth Centre. This includes the provision of educational, life skills, recreation and cultural programming to youth ages 15-29.**
- ** Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Youth Drop-in Center.**:

- ** Support youth who are at risk of becoming unhoused or are unhoused and are experiencing barriers in accessing resources and services.**:

- ** Assist in creating a safe, secure and supportive environment**:

- ** Advocate and address immediate needs of the youth, including but not limited to: meals, clothing, personal hygiene items, shower, laundry, storage, access to computer, internet and telephone.**:

- ** Identify long-term goals with the youth, including but not limited to: housing, employment, budgeting, accessing health and social services, cultural connections.**:

- ** Provide learning opportunities for youth to enhance holistic wellness.**:

- ** Refer youth to applicable internal and external services.**

**What You Will Bring to The Role**:

- ** A post-secondary diploma in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or a related field preferred**:

- ** Two years’ experience working with at-risk and high-risk youth**:

- ** An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered**
