**The Opportunity: The Mental Health and Wellness Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational and clinical day to day functions of the mental health professionals working within the community and child and youth program.**
- Provide leadership and support by responding to queries with quality, holistic and culturally relevant best practices to clinical staff in accordance with legislation, directives, ministry policy, standards and approved procedures.
- Participate in program development and evaluation
- Identify process gaps and risk management issues
- Consult and liaise with external agencies as appropriate in addition to developing relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders such as community agencies and referral sources
- Collaborates with other CSFS team managers and physicians to facilitate an inter-professional approach to standards of practice and maintain Integrated Care Teams.
- Provides direction, leadership and supervision to team members in support of integrated service delivery.
- Act as the second step of appeal for clients who disagree with workers decisions
- Advise the program director of any clinical staff concerns
- Oversee Mental Health and Wellness budgets
- Write proposals for funding as required
- Provide monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders

**What You Will Bring to The Role**:

- Master’s Degree in a mental health related field
- Registration with a mental health related professional board
- At least 5 years’ experience in mental health related management

**The Location**:
**Fort Saint James**, incorporated in 1952, has a population of approximately 4,700, including surrounding First Nations and rural communities. It is a tight knit community that offers an abundance of outdoor activities. The area has hundreds of lakes and rivers and a vast amount of rolling hills and forests. The local economy is well diversified, although resource oriented.
