We are currently seeking a Manager, Brand Marketing who will seek inspiration from our roots, can commit to achieving results the right way and loves to think big to join us on our journey.

The Manager, Brand Marketing will support and own elements of execution of the Marketing Strategy for the Roots brand, globally.

The Manager, Brand Marketing for Roots will be responsible for and evaluated on the following:

- Lead the execution of key elements of the marketing plan and go-to-market calendar, in partnership with Director of Brand Marketing to deliver “ on time & in full”. Ensure suite of assets for each campaign is clearly identified, delivered on time & channelteamscan execute.
- Own the execution of projects in scope from brief to execution which could include: seasonal (brand and retail) campaigns, special collections, brand equity workstreams, research, strategic partnerships, B2B project support, and international projects (US/Asia).
- Harness the power of data - work with Analyst and other Marketing partners to monitor the customer journey, track performance against Objectives and KPIs, and monitor competitive activity. Extract insights from owned data and research to drive continuous improvement and brand relevancy.
- Write compelling Marketing briefs that translate business goals into inspiring and innovative omnichannel programs, product launches, and story-telling campaigns for both in-store and online.
- Activate cross-functional channels to ensure a cohesive presentation of campaigns in market, reviewing campaign assets for consistency and brand alignment
- Manage the consolidated Marketing budget and related expense tracking, and own the tracking of Marketing activity ROI.
- Develop post-mortems for any larger campaigns to share key learnings with cross functional team.
- Contribute to ensuring continuous communication and collaboration between Marketing, Design, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising and B2B teams.
- Assist in the development of key presentations, decks and information tools used to support the business
- Assist with management and execution of administrative tasks.
- Foster a positive team culture of accountability, ownership & achievement, across Peers, cross functional leads and any direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field plus a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience developing consumer product or apparel brands either in-house or at communications agency.
- Strategic thinker with experience developing brand strategy, content creation, storytelling, media planning and social/digital.
- Experience identifying opportunities from consumer and sales data to help drive strategy
- Passion for fashion, retail and the outdoors a benefit.
- Strong understanding of the consumer and consumer segmentation and devising strategies that engage and drive targeted results.
- Understand and relish the opportunity to work with a cross functional team.
- Ability to lead and influence teams and agency partners.
- Exceptional time management, project management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to keep tasks on track & project management experience.
