Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Prepare food products by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces - Cook food items by frying, sauteing, and other cooking methods to specific recipes and standards
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area - clean and sanitize cooking/preparation surfaces
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and front staff to ensure smooth operations and correct delivery of orders - Performs opening and closing duties
Experience
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food service and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
**Experience is not required but is an asset
License/Certification - Food Handler Certification (preferred)
