**What you will be doing**:
This position acts as a deli clerk in the Far Side Grill. The deli will assist the Kitchen Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the Grill and other assignments determined by the Operations Director.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Prepare meat and cheese, wash vegetables, cook egg/chicken, take-out bread for cold subs.
- Prepare a reasonable amount of sandwiches.
- Make the wraps.
- Prepare (cut vegetables, meat) and make the front salads.
- Cut vegetables and make Veggie bowls.
- Cut fruits and make Fruit bowls.
- Make pizzas (ready to be served by 11:00 a.m.)
- Wash and return all the containers and utensils you used for the day. “We have a CLEAN-UP AFTER YOURSELF POLICY” in the kitchen.
- Ensure that work area is clean and orderly at all times.
- Serve food to customers. Help out in the front when needed.
- Assist in emptying out trash bin in the restaurant area. Take out the kitchen trash bin before the end of shift.
- During down time, pre-cut vegetable and fruits, squares and other supplies needed in the kitchen. Make sure to label them.
- Stock supplies in the kitchen.
- Assist in washing dishes.
- Report, answer and follow instructions/tasks given by the Kitchen Supervisor/Cook/Operations Director.

**What will the right person look like?**

**Your experience includes**:

- Atleast 1-2 years of deli experience is preferred, but not required.

**The details**:

- 30 hours a week
- Monday - Friday
- Some weekends MAY be required
- Ideal start date: ASAP

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
