We are seeking an Accounting Clerk on a 6 month fixed-term contract to join our Finance Team.

**Main Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Preparing general ledger entries by accruing expenses, requesting disbursement and reconciling accounts

**Other Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Review accounts receivable statements for outstanding invoices, accurate payments and contacting customers to obtain payments
- Print and adjust journal entries monthly and produce required reports and files
- Special assignments and projects as assigned

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Exceptional time management skills
- Self-motivated with a drive to take initiative
- Knowledge of manufacturing an asset

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
