Project Manager, Construction

Coleman Construction is seeking a Project Manager to Manage & estimate projects in ICI, and Agricultural sectors ranging from $50'000 - $5'000'000.
- Quantity take-offs for estimates and material orders
- Prepare and distribute tender invitations
- Review and prepare tender submissions
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and bid sheets
- Preparing contract proposals
- Preparing and issuing subtrade contracts
- Preparing all project documents
- Project budgeting and scheduling
- preparing monthly invoice logs for monthly invoicing
- Liaison with clients, subtrades, and company personal
- Conduct Shop drawing reviews
- Conduct site inspections and logs, including progress reports.
- Relay information between consultants, owners, subcontractors and in house staff
- RFI's, Change Orders, Site instructions etc

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years working as a project manager/ estimator for a general contracting firm **in Canada**
- Must be current resident of Canada
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge and experience in Building Construction
- Strong knowledge of computers, and programs such as MS office and blubeam
- Able to read and thoroughly understand project drawings and specifications
- Able to Communicate clearly and confidently
- Able to demonstrate safe construction procedures
- Able to work under pressure and long unusual hours when required
- Able to work independently and in teams
- Must read, write, and speak English
- Must be eligible to work in canada

**Assets**:

- Bilingual (French & English)
- Construction field Experience
- Surveying Experience
- Post Secondary education in a relevant program (Civil engineering, CET, Architecture, Atech)
- Health and Safety training
- Experience working with Project management software (Procore, Sage 100, Sage 300, Buildertrend)
