Project Coordinator, Construction

Coleman Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in coordinating & estimating projects in ICI, Agricultural, and Residential sectors ranging from $50'000 - $5'000'000.
- Quantity take-offs for estimates and material orders
- Prepare and distribute tender invitations
- Review tender submission
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and bid sheets
- Preparing preliminary proposal drafts
- Preparing tender submission packages
- Preparing project document binders for project managers and superintendents
- Preparing draft schedules for projects
- preparing monthly invoice logs for monthly invoicing
- Prepare draft contract documents for project managers
- Conduct Shop drawing reviews
- Conduct site safety audits
- Prepare subtrade contracts
- Prepare and maintain safety records

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year construction experience in Canada
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in Building Construction
- Strong knowledge of computers, and programs such as MS office and blubeam
- Able to read and thoroughly understand project drawings and specifications
- Able to Communicate clearly with clients and management personal
- Able to communicate clearly with subtrades
- Able to demonstrate and enforce safe construction procedures
- Able to work under pressure and long unusual hours when required
- Must have valid driver's license and transportation
- Able to work independently and in teams
- **Must read, write, and speak English**
- Must be eligible to work in Canada

Assets:

- Fully Bilingual (French & English)
- Construction Field Experience
- Surveying Experience
- Experience working with project management software such as Procore or Buildertrend
- Post Secondary education in a relevant program
- Health and Safety training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
