**CAD Designer**

**Qualifications**:

- **Have over two years of** **experience working as a structural drafter** **in the residential** **and**
**commercial field.**
- **Advanced proficiency in using CAD software: including AutoCAD, Revit, and Chief**
**Architect.**
- **Have the ability to prepare and develop prelimanary structural drawings ; Be familiar with residential/commercial building codes,**
- **Excellent attention to detail, Ability to work independently, effectively manage multiple projects;**
- **Comfortable with sitting for long periods of time.**
- **Meet company standards for attendance and punctuality.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and develop structual designs using CAD tools, complete the drafting projects.**
**- Create accurate drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, photos and site visits.**

**--Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies;**

**--Revise and upate the plans on time based on the manager and collegue's feedback.**

**-Communicate with the client in a professional manner for explanation and clarification.**

**--**- **Assist to obtain the permit by coordinating the additional drawings, and update documents.**

**--Work on multiple** **and diverse** **projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize workload accordingly.**
- **Track and record all tasks and bill hours on a daily basis.**
- **Maintain organized documentation of jobs for future reference.**

**Required Education**:
**Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from Seneca and other colleges in Ontario;**

**Having a BCN certificate will be considered a priority.**
