**Naturopath Job Description**

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health histories and current conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing natural therapies, including herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling.
- Provide ongoing patient care and support, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients on the principles of naturopathy and the importance of holistic health practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in naturopathic medicine and integrate new knowledge into practice.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in patient care is essential, with a focus on holistic approaches preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is necessary for effective communication within the healthcare environment.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, enhancing your ability to cater to families seeking natural health solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario
- Licensed to practice Naturopathic Services in the Province of Ontario
- Strong communication and client engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and promote your services
- Experience with weight loss patients is an asset.

Salary

60/40 Split

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
