The Project Manager (PM) - Mergers & Acquisitions will be responsible for actively supporting the integration of acquired entities, in a project management role, ranging between small to substantial acquisitions in a highly acquisitive organization. The Project Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions will report directly to the Program Director - Mergers & Acquisitions Integration to ensure alignment between overall integration strategy. Excellent communications skills, knowledge of IT, HR, and Finance will be necessary to understand and identify the dependencies between the various verticals throughout the integration.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The primary accountability is to manage the delivery of solution(s) to the Operations & Acquisition client, be accountable for the approved scope, cost, schedule, and quality for the project. This includes detailed project planning, requirements gathering, execution, control, communication and change management planning, cutover planning, post go live issue management & monitoring for resolution and project closure
Client satisfaction with the project process and project team performance is a key expectation for the PM. In addition, the PM must ensure that all the artifacts of the project are appropriately stored as the project progresses
The PM develops a thorough understanding of the integration strategy, the business, Finance, HR and IT requirements and the solution, and confirms the commitments, assumptions, and constraints. The PM prepares the detailed project plan and clear timelines (and/or work packages) by working with the Subject Matter Experts (SME) and secures the sign offs/approvals from the required stakeholders and the client, before starting the project execution
The PM will work closely with the designated Integrations team member, the M&A ITI team member and HR team member to successfully deliver the transition of the M&A
The PM will be required to update presentation materials for weekly update meetings and at times present in steering committees
Transition Services Agreements management and invoicing and PO management
Provide onsite support and coordination for transition
Manage project planning, execution, control, deployment, warranty support, closure, resourcing, procurement, risk management, issue management and change control processes
Manage information and document flows by prioritizing and following-up
Manage the delivery of the approved business and project requirements and documentation

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies**:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a project manager
Experience in Finance, IT and HR project management is an asset
Experience in system & ERP conversions
Experienced in leading people or teams (work ethic, time reporting/management, teamwork, enthusiasm, and adaptability to change, etc.)
Experience with project management tools (Clickup, Zoho, MS Project, etc.)
Experience in Agile Scrum methodology, Waterfall, Kanban
Excellent communication skills
Self-starter and highly organized
Vendor management experience and related negotiations
Sensitive to urgent situations and can pivot and adjust as required
Works well under pressure and makes deadlines
Can perform effectively with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
Demonstrated relationship-building skills; solid judgment; critical thinking skills; a sense of teamwork and community; ability to handle multiple tasks; highly organized
Detail oriented and organizational skills
Undergraduate degree
PMP or equivalent preferred
