Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
**Responsibilities**:
Project Manager role in a manufacturing organization specializing in Instore Display for Fortune 500 technology companies.
- This is a customer facing role which involves taking briefs from the customer and
- serving as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and
- satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Briefing the design team on the creatives and ensure feedback rounds with the client
- to achieve final designs.
- Act as the primary liaison for customers as well as coordinating between internal
- departments to ensure on time delivery of objectives
- Develop comprehensive master and project schedules, covering scope, timeline,
- budget, and resource allocation, considering operational constraints.
- Execute projects in strict adherence to established procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Lead a multidisciplinary project team, fostering collaboration among engineers,
- designers, finance and technical specialists.
- Promote a collaborative work environment, motivating team members to achieve project goals.
- Identify and address client concerns promptly, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Manage project resources, optimizing personnel, equipment, and materials for project efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of resources.
- May undertake and/or manage procurement processes, including material take-offs, issuing RFQs, vendor selection, expediting, and value management.
- Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions.
- Proactively resolve project issues to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, reports, and costing.
- Provide regular progress reports to internal stakeholders and clients.
**Experience**:
Minimum 3-7 years of related experience, preferably in manufacturing organization as
Project Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the design and manufacturing organization.
- Strong knowledge of principles, practices related to design and manufacturing of In store furniture.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP or relevant certification is a plus.
