As part our transformation at INVISTA, our Maitland, Ontario site is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our Chemical Process and Power team. The team consists of 2 First Line Supervisors, approximately 35 hourly employees. We are looking for an individual that is passionate about creating an environment where the team continuously learns, builds capability, and thrives.
Primary objectives will include ensuring safety, maintaining high quality standards, and enhancing team capabilities by embodying our Principle Based Management philosophy. A successful Operations Manager will gain a comprehensive understanding of the organizational vision and operational processes, and effectively bridge this knowledge to the team.

**What You Will Do**

The Operations Manager is responsible for leadership of the operations team focused on the following:

- Cultivating a team environmental and culture promoting operational and compliance excellence, ensuring safety, reliability, and environmental responsibility.
- Providing transformational leadership, direction and influence to achieve our site Vision and key strategies.
- Developing shift team ownership and capability by creating an environment for skills development, decision making and accountability.
- Connecting the shift team to how their work impacts our market competitiveness and site profitability.
- Implementing the use of digital and transformative technologies to create superior long-term value for the organization.
- Holding self and the team accountable for the operation team's performance metrics: lagging and leading EHS outcomes, Reliable and Disciplined Operations, and QPU's/Cost of Manufacturing.

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Manufacturing operations leadership experience to include coaching/mentoring, performance feedback, and incentives.
- Experience leading a team through site transformational changes.
- Experience creating and presenting business proposals to advance plant operations and strategic initiatives.

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Operations Management or Supervisory experience at INVISTA or another Koch Company.
- Experience implementing Lean and 5S solutions.
