INVISTA has an immediate need for a Maintenance Planner / Turnaround Leader at our facility in Maitland, Ontario. In this pivotal role, the selected individual will be at the forefront of ensuring operational excellence by meticulously planning and overseeing the execution of routine maintenance and turnaround initiatives.

What You Will Do

Develop comprehensive job plans to facilitate routine maintenance activities, including defining detailed work scopes, specifying required materials, outlining precise job steps, and establishing personnel requirements and sequence of work execution. Collaborate with production departments to coordinate outages, shape outage scopes, devise work plans, and supervise field execution to guarantee safe operations that do not disrupt other workgroups. Liaise with procurement teams to manage material requirements, encompassing both stock and non-stock items, and oversee the invoicing and purchase order processes to ensure accuracy and resolution of any issues. Engage in collaborative efforts with Maintenance Technicians, Leadership, Site Operations, other Planners, Coordinators, Contractors, and Reliability Resources to execute routine maintenance effectively and enhance equipment dependability. Offer troubleshooting expertise to diagnose equipment and system failures and formulate corrective repair strategies. Lead multidisciplinary meetings to manage outage plans, work execution strategies, backlog review, and prioritization discussions. Possess the potential to progress to managing front-end capital projects, showcasing growth and development within the role.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience working in an industrial environment developing equipment repair scopes of work, work estimates, maintenance planning/scheduling and/or maintenance engineering.  Experience and knowledge of repair/maintaining best practices on a range of equipment. Experience reviewing Piping and Instrument diagrams, loop drawings, electrical wiring drawings and/or construction drawings.

What Will Put You Ahead

Engineering Technician/Technologist or higher level of education or Licensed as an Industrial Electrician or Millwright.  Experience developing maintenance strategies for manufacturing equipment.  Experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software (ie SAP).  Turnaround planning or large project execution experience.
