**About this Role**

With a burgeoning career as a forecasting analyst, you abide by a key philosophy: the more data the better. Good thing TD has vast amounts of it to parse - as in petabytes. You will join a team of data specialists who create complex data models. You will support numerous data analysis functions across the enterprise including data modeling, visualization, data profiling, report design and other specialized data management functions. TD will look to you to assess our current data capabilities and identify (at a high level) the data requirements for a broad variety of business needs. To meet those needs, your team will propose data management solutions based on industry gold standard methodologies and trends. We are looking for someone to provide strategic technical planning on an innovative team of data specialists, using complex, industry-leading tools to support our business processes through descriptive and predictive modelling.

**As a Modelling/Forecasting Analyst you will**:

- Work with data specialist to assess current capabilities and identify high-level business data requirements
- Analyze identified data quality issues against source system and existing data quality capabilities to confirm the source of the data quality
- Work under general guidance of Data Specialists or Managers to identify, design, develop and support data management solutions for the bank
- Work with IT to deliver on data requirements
- Understand the banks source systems, data and metadata
- Work on TD platform to deliver data solutions required for analytics and modelling solutions
- Continuously enhance knowledge / expertise in own area and keep current on emerging trends /developments and grow knowledge of the business, analytical tools and techniques
- Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet assigned timelines
- Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest

- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
- Three (3) or more years relevant experience
