**Salary **Between $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

**Position details**

Euro Tile & Stone is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. You will have the opportunity to be a key contributor to provide an excellent client experience. Join us to be a part of our growing team.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Provide exceptional service, consultation and customer experience to anyone who either enters our store or contacts us
- Coordinate and facilitate the movement and flow of product: inbound receiving from international and domestic suppliers, outbound to clients, inter-company
- Schedule and coordinate outgoing shipments to our client base including B2B (dealers, contractors, builders) and B2C (retail) clients with own vehicles and third party carriers
- Address and resolve shipment issues
- Negotiate freight rates with third party carriers both for spot quotes and set rates
- Analyze logistics spend and find ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Coordinate intercompany shipments between warehouses
- Coordinate and ensure all client orders are ready for pick up
- Coordinate logistics staff (IE drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
- Update order status in ERP along the cycle of an order, from new order to prepared to shipped
- Build professional relationships with our B2B clients, many of whom are entrepreneurs/business owners, to positively impact their business success
- Respond to incoming inquiries and requests from clients specifically related to order status, shipping and delivery schedule
- Liaise and coordinate with clients upon their arrival for pick ups
- Ensure client’s requirements are met and communicated with all parties involved
- Maintain accurate inventory including assisting with cycle counting at admin level, digging into discrepancies proactively, etc.
- Process internal inventory adjustments
- Address and resolve inventory discrepancies to find root cause
- Teamwork. That means collaborating with other Logistics Coordinators and working harmoniously with other business units including Customer Service Reps, Supply Chain Managers, Operations Managers, etc.
- Have a great understanding of our vast product types and collections including continually and proactively familiarizing yourself with new products; this is in addition to the training we provide
- Ensuring the pickup areas are clean and orderly (indoors and outdoors).
- Adheres to all Health and Safety policies, procedures and guidelines.

**What You Bring to the Role**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics role
- An understanding that the client is central to everything we do
- An understanding that logistics is one of the most important elements in the client service and experience
- Strong organization and administrative skills
- Ability to multi task effectively and manage many different moving parts
- Mature, positive, friendly, courteous attitude
- Highly detailed and precision oriented. Accuracy in this position is a must
- Taking initiative to ensure understanding of a client’s exact requirements
- Proactively identify potential problems and taking care of them before they might escalate
- Able to use technology (ERP, Microsoft Office and specifically Excel, iPad). We’ll train you on our systems in your first week.
